Job Description

We are looking for a talented Product Owner that thrives as part of a high-performance team tasked with finding creative and innovative solutions to the most profound endpoint security challenges customers face. You will be a critical part of the team responsible for building applications to unlock the power of FireEye’s leading security technology and intelligence for our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Be a part of an engineering organization delivering enterprise software in an Agile Software Development lifecycle.
  • Be the bridge between Product Management and Product Development - translate business and customer requirements into technical requirements that can be provided to, and understood by, the development team.
  • Keep engineering team fed with high value work - generate, prioritize, and maintain backlog to meet business commitments and timelines, balancing roadmap items, upstream community needs, and internal engineering activities.
  • Routinely meet with sprint team members and at any time explain, refine, and discuss epics/stories/tasks, as well as be available for acceptance meetings.
  • Write/refine user stories with teams, including defining the acceptance criteria, and working with team to size stories.
  • Collaborate with Architects, other Product Owners, Product Managers, and Stakeholders to define and execute product vision, coordinate dependencies, and optimize program execution.
  • Calculate, understand, and justify team’s metrics, velocity, and capacity plan.
  • Work closely with product engineers and architects to develop best in class technologies and processes.
  • Champion and advocate for customer needs with a quality focus while in the pursuit of all of the above.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years Product Owner experience directly working with software engineering teams to ship cloud-based/SaaS products that serve millions of customers/endpoints.
  • Direct experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms, with a clear understanding of best practices, pitfalls, and critical elements involved in shipping cloud-based software in a full lifecycle delivery environment.
  • Thorough understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented.
  • Creative thinker with a vision.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risks.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing roadmaps to support on-premise-to-cloud migration for enterprise applications.
  • Thorough understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience with Agile tools like Jira, VersionOne, Rally.
  • Technical and engineering experience is beneficial.

Minimum Salary: $105,000. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations.

Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from FireEye’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms
