AECOM is seeking a Program & Project Management Intern I to be based in Arlington, VA.This position is expected to begin in June 2023.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of studyPrepare engineering-related calculations and develop visual aids and reports related to stormwater management, green infrastructure, site/civil design, water quality and stream restoration projects.Assist in the development and application of conceptual designs and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and analyses related to stormwater management studies and a variety of projects.Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.Exercise judgment in developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.Work under supervision of a project manager and/or experienced engineer.
