DescriptionLeidos is seeking a Lead Program Finance Analyst to join the newly awarded HEITS DHS Program Finance Team to support a large program based out of Lorton, VA.The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial reporting aspects of HEITS. The position will have significant impact on the program’s operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the program. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of issues and use those analyses to find solutions. Excellent communication skills both internally and externally are essential to the success of this position as we work with all functional peers along with the program teams – both Leidos program teams and the customer program teams.Primary Responsibilities
Participatesinthedevelopmentofprogramlevelprocessesandprocedurestodrive efficiencies
SignificantinteractionwiththeProgramManager,BusinessManager,Contractsteam,Customer,andvariousotherfunctionalorsupportorganizations
ServesasliaisonsbetweentheProgramTeamandcross-functionaldepartmentsto perform financialresearch
Developmentandon-goingsupportofbasisofestimates,projectcost,resourceallocation, cost and schedule status reporting and ad hoc financialanalyses
DevelopmentandmaintenanceofEstimatesatCompletion(EAC)sinFusion,andprepare and review QFSR/one-liner data asrequired.
ResponsibleforallaspectsoftheHEITS ServiceCenters,includingflashedrate preparations, monthly MVR and Spend Planreporting.
Coordinate and facilitate monthly closing functions, including sales reconciliations, preparingmonthlyoutlooksforrevenueandOIprojections,andprogramMORpreparation. Prepare monthly variance reconciliation to published quarterlyforecast.
Track all aspects of backlog, including new awards andfactoring.
Track customer contract value and funding monthlytoensureadequatefundsavailableforinvoicingpurposes.Prepareandpresent quarterly customer PMR chartdeck.
HandleallaspectsofnewprogramsetupincludingstructurecreationandPLC creation/verification.
CoordinatingwithProgramManagement,createandimplementyearlyAnnualOperating Plans(AOP).
Provide pricing support for new task orders and on-contractgrowth
Supportsthepreparationofwritten,verbal,andquantitativereportsforcustomer deliverables providing a thorough walk through asneeded
ReportingandvarianceanalysistoincludeRevenue,Profit,Cash,Backlog,Riskand Opportunities
Asneeded,willassistinthedevelopmentofBasisofEstimate(BOEs)andpriceproposals
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M
Strong MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel
Extremely high level of attention to detail
Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Customer focused
Able to work successfully in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, orAccounting
Prior experience with Oracle BusinessIntelligence
Prior experience in governmentcontracting
Security clearance is not required, but all candidates for consideration must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret or higher as needed.
Pay Range:Pay Range $84,500.00 - $152,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
