As an AIS Program Manager, you will provide technical and management leadership on task orders and projects. The Program Manager we're seeking will have in-depth experience and knowledge associated with technical requirements such as modernization and migration; operations and maintenance services; and supplying training and engineering support for application refactoring, application migration, training, operations, maintenance, and continual enhancement of applications. This Program Manager will oversee all order-level project management to ensure deliverables are on track and important milestones are met.
What You'll Be Doing- Providing PMO oversight of IDIQ bid forecast and response.
- Manage task orders and projects in ways that model delivery excellence by meeting contractual obligations, ensuring risk management, verifying quality management, promoting client satisfaction, understanding profitability targets, and complying with AIS Project Management Standards and processes.
- Foster relationships with clients to partner and advise project execution by overseeing budgets, methods, and staffing.
- For each Task Order, ensure the development of an Order Management Plan - describing the technical approach, organizational resources, risk management, quality assurance, and other management controls to meet the cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout Order execution.
- Maintain situational awareness of day-to-day activities on the ground, serving as the first escalation point for the client and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of delivery services.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of current task orders and projects.
- Build positive relationships with our Delivery Teams, Clients, and AIS Coworkers.
- Support project and program team members as needed for successful delivery and as they identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Thoroughly prepare for all client interactions, inclusive of client negotiations and interfacing with senior management, and on-time delivery of required recurring reporting.
- Serve as the primary front-line staff manager: approve timesheets and expenses, distribute and manage internal communications, deliver performance reviews, provide team mentorship, and help individual team members with career development goals.
- Minimum of ten years of proven experience managing IT programs in ways that model delivery excellence: meeting contractual obligations, managing risk, promoting client satisfaction, realizing profitability targets, supporting team morale, managing multi-million budgets, and complying with project management standards and processes.
- Working knowledge and experience managing technology, software, and IT infrastructure programs.
- Ability to handle complex tasks across development and engineering teams/projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, DevSecOps Best Practices, and Software Development lifecycle.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in creating the Critical Path of a project and the ability to ask insightful questions to achieve desired results.
- Critical to the success of this position will be the ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients and levels of management.
- Active PMI PMP certification.
- Appropriate IAW DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01, Cyber Workforce Management, Certification(s).
- Understand cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
