Overview

PROGRAM MANAGER (GEAR-22-1341-W):

Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to support the GRIDS III Geospatial Systems Engineering (GEAR) contract located in Fort Belvoir, VA. The Program Manager will direct, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate and complete a program(s) or collection of projects of highly technical or organizational complexity or risk, or significant strategic value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall requirement, providing programmatic reporting, and addressing overall management and contracting issues.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management.
  • Responsible for the management of funds and personnel, and is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of all contractual requirements.

Qualifications

In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business; Computer Science or related scientific or technical discipline
  • 15+ years of relevant experience. PMP certification highly desired
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to these locations.
