Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:The Program Manager of M&A activities will oversee the technology areas as they relate to mergers, acquisitions and divestures. In this position the PM will be responsible for coordinating large scale complex projects, promoting activities to foster standardization within the enterprise, and to monitor and assist with system selections and migration strategies to be used. This individual will also serve as the point of contact for new organizations and we be the liaison with other departments outside of technology. Essential Job Functions:- Act as the strategic thought leader for multiple technological practice areas providing recommendations while keeping capacity management at the forefront.
- Assemble and communicate key elements and milestones for stakeholder review to determine readiness to proceed to implementation phase.
- Responds effectively with technical designs to the changes in I&T infrastructure required by BSMH's SQP strategies and/or by healthcare information industry technology improvements.
- Provides rationale for action, including return on investment and defines implications for information systems.
- Coordinate technical design for large-scale complex projects, monitor methods of systems selection for appropriate information technology, and promote activities to foster standardization within the enterprise.
- Analyzes information systems initiatives to determine potential inadequacies or potential conflict with systems architecture, such as capacity restrictions affecting information flow, data compatibility, or cost duplication.
- Educates management, IS leaders, and IS staff on relevant technical issues so that appropriate actions are taken when selecting or considering information systems.
- Work independently and with other internal and external managers to successfully integrate the systems, processes, and procedures with new organizations who have newly joined the BSMH ministry.
- Create and Maintain templates specific to M&A effort for consistency and efficiency.
- Develop and sustain partner relationships by promoting an end user experience-driven culture through the development of organization structure, processes and programs to enable a high degree of responsiveness and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Plan, coordinate and occasionally act as lead project manager of cross-functional, matrix teams on a broad variety of initiatives related to computer systems.
- Responsible for keeping subordinates informed at all times of changes to projects, priorities, and daily support activities.
- Ensures departmental staff is well informed.
- Accurately capture appropriate requirements information for project documentation.
- Work closely with the IMO team to identify and prioritize the necessary BSMH I&T services to successfully integrate the new organization(s) into the correct BSMH department, practice, or team.
- 10 Years of experience in IT or related field
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Travel up to 20%
