Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is seeking a Project Coordinator/Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to provide IT Operations and Maintenance to modernized the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally. This role is responsible for administering and organizing all types of Service Center projects, from logging simple task and activities to creating project plans for more complex projects to ensure that all Service Center functional area projects are completed on time and meets high quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities: • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information • Break projects into doable actions and set time frame • Liaise with clients and internal teams to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management • Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve • Help maintain staffing budget and staffing for Service Center • Analyze risks and opportunities • Oversee project procurement management • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants • Work with the Service Center managers and task owners to eliminate blockers and escalate to Service Center Leader, as appropriate • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance reviews with functional areas leads within Service Center

Basic Qualifications • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role • Must have experience in project management, from conception to delivery • Must have an ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and a can-do attitude. • Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus • Working knowledge of MS Project or similar application to manage projects
