Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in McLean, Virginia. The ideal Project Manager will have experience managing and leading one or more scrum teams to develop and maintain mission critical IT Projects for the Federal Government. This position will be required to:

  • Provide overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects under the supervision of a Delivery Manager and senior or executive management and in coordination with other project managers and scrum masters
  • Assess conflicting priorities, eliminate blockers, and ensure that teams are focused on delivering value
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, create and maintain complex project schedules, identify potential risks and issues, and work with project stakeholders to create mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to contractual requirements and performance standards in a deadline driven environment
  • Provide regular project progress, earned value analysis, and other metrics
  • Deliver the highest quality project documentation, products, and services to ensure 100% customer and user satisfaction
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in the implementation of Agile methodologies
  • Actively contribute to corporate process improvement outside of assigned projects
  • Write and maintain multiple types of reports, past performance, corporate experience, white papers, presentations, and proposals
  • Participate in business development activities including capture management, proposal development, and developing re-usable content for past performances, technical approaches, and management approaches
  • Work with customers to understand emerging needs and new requirements to develop new and maintain existing work
  • Plan, conduct, and facilitate product increment meetings with stakeholders
  • Plan, advocate for, recruit, and interview new talent based on project needs
  • Maintain and increase team morale through team building activities, recognition, feedback, and addressing team member concerns and needs
  • Establish and monitor project, performance, and professional goals for team members
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with project team members and managers
  • Mentor and coach team members and peers

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience or 6 years of experience
  • Experience in project management and agile best practices for Federal government contracts
  • Active Public Trust
  • Proficiency in MS Office productivity tools and MS Project
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service/client facing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Agile management tools and MS Project
  • Proven capability managing team and individual performance using metrics and goals and in adhering and implementing a quality management system (QMS) and quality assurance surveillance plan (QASP)
  • Strong ability to plan and perform multiple tasks or activities
  • Good understanding of CMMI ML 3 DEV and SVC practices
  • Proven track record of growing project revenue and maintaining or increasing project profitability

Other: While this position is remote, a preference is for candidates to be commutable to McLean, VA due to limited travel to Washington, DC or Federal facilities in the National Capital Region is expected. Due to the nature of this position, weekend and evening work may be required on occasion.
