Project Manager - Stormwater

Timmons Group is currently seeking a full time experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Virginia Stormwater Team. We are open to qualified candidates working out of any of our VA office locations.Essential Duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Provide leadership on the development of project/task scopes of work and budgets for new engagements, including recommended allocation of firm assets to complete assignments on time and on budgetManage and mentor project staff responsible for technical execution of project assignments to ensure timely delivery of assigned workServe as primary point of contact for client staff in the execution/delivery of project/task assignmentsTrack deliverable development, project/task budget, and provide project/task status tracking updates for clientsAssist company leadership with business development activities, including potential client/opportunity recognition, strategic teaming, proposal construction, and oral presentationsProvide technical/design leadership for stream restoration assessment and design projects  Manage field teams performing assessments of BMPs and water quality screening of stormwater outfallsSupport hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to investigate storm drainage issues, floodplain studies, stream restoration, dam safety analyses, and support stormwater management designsPrepare engineering and construction cost estimatesSupport MS4/VSMP permit program development & implementation for municipal clientsSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering with equivalent work experience and professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia, and/or one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business, or ability to obtain a VA PE license within a timely manner6+ years of experience in civil engineering related to Stormwater managementA demonstrated ability to manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects at the same timeHas experience in marketing and supervision of the technical work of othersWorking knowledge of CADD and or civil 3D software. (Civil 3D preferred)
