Quality Assurance Engineer - CoStar - Richmond, VA

As a CoStar Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for deeply understanding what drives the business for which you are building. As a member of the Global Research Development Team, you will be working on the Enterprise applications our employees use every day.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Designs, documents and implements procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology for analyzing, testing, and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes
  • Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports, application turnover documents and test schedules
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working on the development and maintenance of Enterprise Applications
  • Strong SQL background
  • Proficient with TFS, Visual Studio, or other Microsoft tools
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS
  • Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners)
  • Knowledge of SQL experience
  • Data modeling experience from conceptual, logical and physical designs
  • Experience with RESTful web services
