Implements quality assurance and quality control on various applications and identifies functional errors prior to product launch. More senior roles oversee and supervise the work of others and funnel work, as well as serve as liaison with internal clients. Some roles perform equivalent work exclusively with Mobile platforms.Key Activities:
  • Takes broader QA projects and divides them into individual tasks
  • Understands interrelationships between parts of software
  • Deals with undocumented code; thinks outside the box to understands software; find bugs and improve code
  • Understands the software's intricacies and impact of changes on other parts of the system
  • Knows Comscore's products, process and people
  • Proactively learns and becomes an expert on their assigned area
  • Formulating test strategies, designing test cases and modifying/executing automated regression test scripts
  • Validate product features by designing test strategy, conducting test design and review with team
  • Collaborate with deployment teams to ensure correct builds are deployed
  • Providing a risk analysis and ensuring risk addressment
  • Design and execute performance tests (ex: load testing, stress testing, etc.)

Core Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years working software testing
  • 1-2 years experience with Comscore's offerings, systems, tools, methods, data and people
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of test types and the appropriate testing tools for each
  • Experience testing full stack (UI, MIddleware, Backend, etc.)
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience working in Agile Development teams
  • Exceptionally Internet savvy; passion for the internet ecosystem
  • Ability to partner, influence, and successfully interact with others; readily accept feedback
  • Experience working with modern automation tools (ex: Cypres, Selenium, Katalon)
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in an Agile & DevOps development environment
  • Experience with JIRA, GIT and Bitbucket or similar tools
  • Proficient in designing/creating Automation Frameworks, developing Test Automation Frameworks
  • Able to partner and collaborate across multiple teams and departments
  • Self motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to seek and provide constructive feedback
