Position Summary:Under the direction of supervisor or other licensed radiologic technologist, assumes the responsibility and accountability for producing diagnostic procedures on anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site radiologist. The Student Technologist maintains a safe environment and conducts patient education as necessary. Operates under the guidance of radiologist and direct supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality. Works in collaboration with all other care disciplines to provide safe, efficient, and coordinated care for patients. Utilizes established policies and procedures of TCRH and maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. He/she must be able to recognize and assess changes in mental and/or physical conditions resulting in life threatening conditions.Training and Continued EducationOpportunities for further education and training are available to our employees. Minimum Education

High School graduate or equivalent.

BLS required.

Must be currently enrolled in accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.

Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
