Job Duties:- Leverage Amazon Web Services to build, operate, and maintain scalable data infrastructure
- Formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.
- Provide advanced mathematical/scientific software.
- Assist on all phases of software programming applications.
- Evaluate new and existing software products.
- Support operations and maintenance of building data heavy micro services and user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain task workflow and analytic capability leveraging Groovy, Grails, React, Java, NodeJS, Python, Oracle, Elastic search and Dynamo DB.
- Build a complex single page application using React, Redux, and Node.js which interacts with a rich micro service back-end
- Build and maintain a Java back-end for the SPA
- Assist with other development and maintenance tasks such as modifying Jenkins jobs and making changes to Java services
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- MS with 2 years or BS with 4 years
- Must currently possess an active US government Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access within a reasonable, customer-mandated time frame.
- Must be willing and able to pass a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.
- Must be able to demonstrate expertise in developing in a Micro services environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
- Prefer AWS/Cloud experience.
- AWS Cloud Certified Developer - Associate (attained within 3-6 months of being on program) certification.
