Job Family: Project ManagementReq ID: 369602Job Summary:Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization and we are seeking a self-driven individual to complement our growing team.As a Junior Project Manager (Remote) you will work under light supervision to be the On-Site Manager execution of ESPC projects of medium size and complexity that are part of a program. You will be part of a project execution organization for financed and funded projects, driving customer’s value realization. You will execute the project within the defined targeted outcome in relation to the Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS)/TO, project financials, schedules, scope of work and quality, while ensuring customer satisfaction.As part of the Professional I&ES team, you will be the key on-site point of contact for SGT Management, Subcontractors, and the customer for the project.Responsibilities:Align the project schedule with contract requirementsUnderstanding the value of the projectWork with Sales and Program Manager to review and agree to a meeting structure with the customerManage stakeholder expectations with the Program ManagerReview the contract requirements and project scope to achieve project objectivesSupport project risk management including planning, identification, analysis, response planning and controllingManage and resolve issues with the necessary internal and external partnersEnforce project change management processCoordinate with the project team to ensure on time deliveryExecute project communication protocols including periodic reportingFollow the Siemens procurement processesSupport contract acceptance and final project handover to the customerAssist the Program Manager to set up the project teamDeliver the project within the approved budget and at the agreed marginRegularly review the performance and provide periodic realistic project revenue forecastWorking with the Program Manager and Project Controller to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition for the projectIdentify and minimize non-conformance costs in the projectSupport the organizational culture, values, and reputation if company markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory/official bodies.Record expenses in an accurate and timely mannerUphold the professional integrity of Siemens at all timesUpholds and enforces Siemens compliance guidelines at all timesAdhere to all Siemens Health and Safety policiesAdhere to, and promote all core internal and customer processes relating to the effective undertaking of the roleEnsure that all communication channels within the business are adhered to.Ensure the team members have the materials and equipment to complete the taskProvide input, where appropriate to team meetings.Identify additional opportunities out of the ongoing project and submit those to the Program Manager- Undertake any business administration in line with job activityUndertake any other duties required by the company.Qualifications:United States CitizenBachelor’s Degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience.Minimum three (3) years of Project -level coordination or administration experience or equivalentExperience or knowledge of the construction and engineering processes for development, design and/or execution of projects.Two (2) years of experience working in a customer facing environmentWorking knowledge of the administrative functions of the I&ES ESPC business including project setup, contract structure, progress reporting, revenue recognition and billing.Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies and procedures.Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within construction projects.Leadership skills and proven track record of managing multiple Subcontractors and project management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of company and government executives.Ability to effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers.Ability to obtain and meet Business goals and resultsAbility to promote complex solutions and drive acceptance with confidenceKnowledge and ability to deliver goals effectively and drive the project to success with a sense for urgency.Knowledge of Change Management.Willingness and the ability to travel to appropriate work location, as required by the projectWillingness and the availability to work the core hours required by the specific project and per company policy.Security ClearanceUnited States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S DOD Government Security Clearance if required at a later date.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementSiemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
