Qualifications

Education/Experience: HS Diploma Required / Bachelor's Degree preferred with 0 to 3+ years of relevant work experience along with any valid Information Security related certifications.

Knowledge: General knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in information security. General knowledge of business skills and operating proficiency in MS Office products.

Communications: Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail are required. Acts as a team player, is cooperative and encourages collaboration.

Risk Management: The TVM Analyst is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making and contributing to his or her functions risk management.

Decision Making: Works under direction with infrequent checks; follows established methods and clearcut policy. Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate action to be taken

Responsibilities:

Required to learn key aspects of the daily operations of the team. Once trained, daily duties may include assessing the applicability of newly identified vulnerabilities or noncompliance and identifying the appropriate party for remediation. Duties may also include developing or updating processes and procedures to ensure effective and consistent operations that adhere to requirements and IS standards, and follow IS policy and/or IS risk compliance regulations. Duties may also include reporting and analysis to assist in executing solutions and may provide consultation to customers, colleagues and management, participation in crossfunctional linked teams to address IS policy/risk or compliance issues and providing input on best practices and how to improve current practices and/or monitoring.

1) Performs analysis of business issues utilizing established methodology and tools within information security areas.

2) Works with the customers and other resources to assess current capabilities, identify the customer needs and assist in recommending process improvements within information security areas.

3) Provides basic support and collaboration in completing analysis, providing adhoc reports, information or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related resources.

4) Contributes to process improvement and solution discussions and may contribute some outcomes in written and verbal format to management.

5) Assists in the development and design of new business processes and the elaboration and update.
