Residential Construction Helper (Immediate Hire)

Busy local contractor wanting to hire a General Laborer to start immediately for:

Jobsite clean up

Demo Work

Material movement/placement

Various labor related duties

Must have dependable transportation. (No bus riders or drop offs).

Able to travel throughout the Tidewater area for work.

Able to work a 40 hr. week, occasional over time but no weekends.

Prefer Helper lives on the Southside due to traffic problems coming through the HRBT to the Southside in the mornings.

Prior experience as a residential construction laborer a plus.

Clean criminal background (minor charges not a disqualification but reviewed case by case).

Able to work off ladders, scaffolding, not afraid of heights.

I will do a background check on each applicant and require a drug free work place.

Performance raise after 90 day evaluation.
