Techwish is looking for a passionate and skilled RHEL/DevOps Engineer for a contract position with one of it’s direct clients in Manassas, VA.
Note: This position requires on-site presence on Day 1, may need to be on-site for weekend deployments (1 out of 4 weekends on a rotation basis) You will be working alongside a dynamic team who are fully responsible for end-to-end delivery – from customer engagement to operations. If you are interested in all aspects of the IT services delivery process (architecture, design, implementation, testing, operations and support) you could be our ideal candidate.Technical Proficiency:5+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration and Windows managing medium to large scale infrastructureOS: RHEL 7.x/8.x and Windows – Proficiency with OS commands, disk volumes, kernel knowledgePerform regular Platform Infrastructure maintenance and upgrade activities using Ansible Tower and Red Hat SatelliteExperience in VMware operations like templates, snapshot, managing/building new VMsExperience in writing simple shell scripts, Ansible playbooks, power shell for routine System Admin tasksExperience in using Red Hat Satellite content views for different versions of Platform and Application content and RHEL subscription and activation key management.Familiar/working knowledge on Orchestration tools like Red Hat Ansible Tower and vRealize AutomationFamiliar/working knowledge on CI/CD build and deploy tools (GIT/Bitbucket)Familiar with Infrastructure architecture concepts.Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Nexus, ServiceNowExposure to container technology – Docker, OpenShift, KubernetesCertification in Linux, RHCSA/CSE is a plus QualificationsCertification in Linux, RHCSA/CSE - YesRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration - Professional (4-5)Red Hat Satellite content views - Junior (1-3)RHEL 7.x/8.x and Windows – Proficiency with OS commands, disk volumes, kernel knowledge - Professional (4-5)VMware operations like templates, snapshot, managing/building new VMs - Professional (4-5)Agile, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, ServiceNow - Junior (1-3)RedHat Linux - Junior (1-3) (3,00 years) Regards,Nagendra Karn
