Galago is an innovative service born out of Ramboll that aims to improve environmental outcomes by using the next generation of spatial management tools. We do this by working with landowners and remedial site operators to help them safeguard and protect their land. We use aerial, drone, and satellite data to map our clients’ land, and then use geospatial analysis and AI methods to find areas for environmental improvement or change. We give our clients a snapshot-in-time of any immediate issues, and we also help them monitor how their land changes over time, diagnose why it is changing, and whether this is an issue, and recommend what they need to do about it. More about Galago here: www.ramboll.com/galago  We are a small, fun team made up of commercial and technical experts, and are looking for someone to come in and help us manage geospatial project delivery for our clients. You will join our Environment & Health department As a Scan-to-BIM Specialist at Ramboll, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models of buildings and physical spaces using scanning technologies, such as laser scanning or photogrammetry. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to provide high-quality digital models for a variety of purposes, including renovation, restoration, maintenance, and retrofitting projects. Key position requirements are: Experience in 3D laser scanning or photogrammetry Strong knowledge of BIM software, such as AutoCAD or Revit Ability to work with point cloud data and create accurate 3D models Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for Scan-to-BIM workflows Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project stakeholders Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows Beneficial additional skills include: Experience with other scanning technologies such as LiDAR or structured light scanning Knowledge of programming languages such as Python  Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Autodesk Civil 3D or others Familiarity with GIS products Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industries This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
