Scrum Master

DescriptionSAIC is seeking an individual for a Scrum Master role to join the Digital Innovation Factory (DIF) Solutions Management team. This opportunity allows for full-time telework from anywhere within the U.S.The successful candidate will have strong experience using Agile methodologies. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and management. Reviews status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proficient in industry standard Agile tools and software

Knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban)

Understanding of software development life cycle models

In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Bachelor's Degree with three (3) or more years of product and project development experience. Master’s Degree is required with one (1) or more years of product and project development experience.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (can be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies.

Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization.

Strong communication skills and technical understanding.

Understanding of facilitation techniques.

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Desired Experience:

Knowledge of project and program planning methodologies.

Preferred Certifications:

Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

Any sort of technical certification that denotes experience in the field (I.e. AWS Cloud Practitioner, ITIL v4, Google certifications, etc.).

Preferred Clearance:

Top Secret w/ SCI or Secret clearance.

Familiarity with AI, Cloud, Data or Software technologies and concepts.

Knowledge of federal government, military experience, contracting processes, and regulations is advantageous.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000.
