Job Summary/Company:A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a SDET Engineer to join their team. This Direct Hire position is 100% remote. If you are interested in learning more about Sparks Group and the opportunity, please submit your resume today. Responsibilities:- Develop/design test frameworks, test tools, and automation
- Design test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications
- Convert manual test cases into automated test cases
- Ensure product is tested at the appropriate level (unit vs integration vs end-to-end, API vs UI) reducing unnecessary test cases, intermittent failures, and decreasing execution time
- Define, implement, and analyze metrics to resolve test effectiveness and the overall quality of software
Qualifications/Background Profile:- 3+ years of experience on end-to-end system test automation as well as test automation frameworks
- 3+ years of Python experience
- Familiar with SQL and NoSQL
- Familiarity managing data and services in a cloud environment like AWS, GCE, or Azure
- Experience working with data ingestion, storage, and analysis tools (Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, PostgresDB) preferred
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub, JIRA, Docker, CloudFormation)
- Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
