Job Title: Technical Support Program Manager

Location: Ashburn, VA (one day on-site)

Description: Technical Support and Program Manager for all DoD (WITS3) tasks that we are contracted to perform that support the DoDs electronic security infrastructure and physical access security. This includes but is not limited to buildings, doors, rooms, cameras, motion detectors, turnstiles and fences. VZ also provides support by providing on-site, full time Professional Services via Third Party Vendors who are Lenel VARs (Value-added Resellers). These Task Orders include Proactive Maintenance, Remedial and Emergency Maintenance, installs and testing plus database administration for more than 15 Navy and DoD Commands. We have approximately 10 Tier II and Tier II Techs, Security Engineers and Program Managers that are managed by the VP. Technical support involves a full understanding and current knowledge of the Lenel product line, on which the Navy has standardized for their Force Protection mission. Support of and intimate understanding of both the hardware and software that supports the Navys infrastructure is critical. Understanding of the missions and stakeholders in both N-3 (Navy Force Protection Command) and N-6 (Information Technology) is required. To support these VARs, serve as liaison with Lenel (the OEM). Conduct regular project / progress meetings with all the different stakeholders and end user customers on each base. Assists with site surveys, security design and engineering and database issues.As Program Manager, review quotes, assists with any questions or concerns and, post order receipt, works to ensure that the required Verizon processes are completed in order that the subcontractors receive their POs in a timely manner. Perform all project and order close-outs tasks required by the contract terms to ensure Verizon invoices in a timely manner.The employee could work 1 day per week in the office. Most of the contractor time should be spent with customers either in person or virtually.DOD Security Clearance is not required but would be considered a desired benefit.
