An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required prior to consideration for this role. Work is 100% onsite. We are hiring for a Security Engineer, preferably with cross domain experience, and strong programming/scripting experience. This is a permanent, full time position within a team to provide Network, Linux and Security support to enable Enterprise Cross Domain information transfer for an Intel Community program. - Linux Systems Engineering / Administration (SA) working with virtual servers,physical servers, and associated technologies.
- Support new design/architecture tasking as part of system modernizationdevelopment efforts as requested.
- Systems and Solutions architecture experience - from custom solutions design to implementation and operationalization
- DevSecOps experience
- Research and manipulate data elements (structured and unstructured data)
- Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and governmentinformation assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formalverification methods.
- Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performancemeasures.
- Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
- Work individually and actively participate on integrated teams
- Need to understand how files move across the network
- Collect complex technical requirements to design and build custom data transfer solutions from low to high environment
- Perform security engineering duties as assigned
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- 4-6 years administering Linux-based platforms
- Experience architecting and developing custom scalable solutions
- Working knowledge of data types (structured and unstructured)
- Working knowledge of APIs
- Security engineering experience in the DOD/Intel community
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, InformationSystems, Computer Science)
- DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Remote workforce primarily (U.S. based only, some travel may be required for certain positions, working on-site may be required for Federal positions)
