As a Security Officer 1, you will provide enforcement of Department of Human Services and Danville State Hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations to safeguard the hospital and its property against fire, theft, and vandalism, as well as maintain a safe environment for consumers, employees, and visitors. You will complete a vast array of duties and routines to include performing patrol duties on foot or by vehicle; completing incident reports and conducting investigations; and responding to fire alarms, emergencies, disasters, codes, and bomb threats on campus.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, working every other weekend, with (2) 15-minute breaks. May change based on operational needs.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
