Semiconductor Device Physics Project Manager to work in our

Arlington, VA office.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description: ECS is seeking a technical project manager to oversee DARPA R&D efforts in Semiconductor Device Physics. In this role, you will work directly with DARPA leadership on technical project management and support future research efforts in ultra-high temperature sensors and RF device technologies. Responsibilities will include:
  • Generating, maintaining, and executing integrated master schedules for research programs.
  • Evaluating project risks and providing mitigation solutions.
  • Support the coordination and execution of program-funded testing.
  • Assess individual performer risks, track performer progress relative to plan, project anticipated performer outcomes and ensure that project management best practices are followed.
  • Attending and organizing program reviews and site visits.
  • Provide technical evaluations and guidance on reports, briefings, and other performer communications.
  • Presentation and report preparation.
Candidate must be a self-starter that can proactively and independently engage technical and logistical challenges with limited oversight. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidates are expected to be onsite at the Ballston Square office in Arlington, VA.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related technical field.
  • 5+ years' industry experience in technical program management.
  • Strong understanding of state-of-the-art transistor technologies and principles: JFET, HEMT, CMOS, bandgap, etc.
  • Experience with high-temperature transistor properties and technologies: silicon carbide and GAN.

    • Proven ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams.

Desired Skills:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • 10+ years' experience in technical program management.
  • Experience as a performer on DoD research programs.
