Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) experience to join our Intelligence Market team to support our government clients. The ISSE is a multifaceted role that collaborates with other teams across the business. Jobsite location is Reston, VA. This role may return to a hybrid onsite/offsite role in the near future. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillsets by working with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS capabilities in serving our clients. As a Developer/ISSE you will:

  • Participate in software development cadence and ceremonies
  • Understand system requirements and produce working application software
  • Work closely with the Dev and QA team
  • Address bugs and production incidents
  • Assist in system deployments and validations
  • Create/maintain the Security Plans for the systems
  • Maintain security artifacts in Xacta
  • Orchestrate system security integrity validations on a regular basis
  • Work with the team to maintain an ATO
  • Work with the ISSM to understand security requirements and conduct audits
  • Help team address security scan findings
  • Provide guidance on security requirements and scan findings
  • Maintain system Recovery Time Objectives and other metrics

Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 4years of development experience using Python, Go, Node or Java.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the ISSE role
  • Strong development skills
  • Knowledge of at least one of these languages: Python, Node, GoLang REST,JSON,DynamoDB,ElasticSearch,SQS,SNS,Eclipse,VisualStudioCode, IntelliJ
  • Development lifecycle, Agile preferred
  • MySQL or MariaDB
  • Webservices

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Java and Apache Groovy
  • Experience in AWS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway and Linux
  • In addition to understanding or experience of the following technologies:Spring MVC, Javascript frameworks, React JS, TypeScript, SSO,SAML
