We are looking to hire a new Senior Associate to our dynamic and highly collaborative team that will bring in unique perspectives and experiences to drive our program forward.As a Senior Associate in Capital One’s Enterprise Services (ES) Risk Office (ES Risk, first line of defense), you will support managing the process for high priority enterprise-level technology/cyber initiatives and drive enhancements across the organization to help meet our strategic goals. Specifically, in this position, you will play a key role in enhancing our risk management processes across Capital One, driving project and program delivery, and influencing outcomes to support the broader Technology and Cyber Risk Strategy for Capital One. This role will support our ES Risk Identification & Assessment team, which comprises our Material Technology and Cyber Change (MTC) Program and LAUNCH Risk Assessment lane for ES, and includes overseeing governance, intake, process enhancements, and strategy support for the programs.As part of this role you will:

Operate in a highly collaborative team environment on work that impacts all lines of defense, Lines of Businesses, and other risk management teams;

Perform and support the work related to enhancing our well-managed risk agenda and supporting processes;

Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; supporting reporting on risk topics to management;

Support program-level assessment processes such as controls testing, audit & regulatory interactions, and risk & controls self assessments (RCSAs);

Manage a sustainable and mature process to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor change initiatives across the enterprise, including tech/cyber changes, new products/services, etc.;

Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on a periodic basis.

Your contributions will drive organizational change through risk identification, measurement, analysis and reporting in order to better manage the company’s risk in an open and collaborative environment.Skills/Competencies:

Core Responsibilities:

Assist ES Risk leadership in delivering towards their strategy and service model

Identify and implement continual program enhancements based on industry standards and best practices related to risk management (especially technology risk) and aligned with Capital One’s strategic risk direction

Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; including reporting on risk topics to management

Participate in risk and other management forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk and project / program management practices

Support interactions with Internal Audit and Regulatory agencies related to our work, as applicable

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or military experience

At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite

At least 1 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, or Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in an Governance, Risk, and Compliance environment

At least 2 years of change management experience in process improvement and transformation

In depth knowledge of agile and program management tools (Jira, Confluence, Adobe Workfront)

Agile certifications (SAFe, CSM, CSPM) and/or PMP, BPM certifications

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $114,700 - $130,900 for Sr. Assoc, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
