Job Role: Senior Business Operations Analyst (Data Analyst)Location: McLean, VA/HybridDuration: 9 months Description: Years of experience:5+ Soft Skills Required:Prefers Support experience , BO support Required Skills:SQL, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Knowledge of Cloud Native technologies(S3, Mongo, Snow Flake, Postgres),Hands on autimation skills using Python(preferred) Position Overview:We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual for an Business Operations Analyst on contract basis.In this role, the individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day business operations for multiple mission critical business applications.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an innovative thinking to solve issues with keen focus on Risk and Governance, can collaborate with business stakeholders effectively to prioritize and resolve issues, and is comfortable to work across divisions to solve data issues. Your Responsibilities:Ability to understand Process flows, dependencies for data availabilityAbility to understand production issues and collaborate with IT partners and business stakeholders to resolve the issues.Work with business stakeholders to determine priorities and collaborate with IT teams for resolution of issuesManage the day-to-day data controls execution for data completeness and data accuracy.Ability to work in restricted data environments while adhering to restrictions surrounding the dataAbility to support SOX/Compliance documentation requirements and work to provide evidences for audit requestsAbility to execute/monitor multiple business processes in a timely manner with tight deadlinesInteract and communicate effectively with the business and other upstream or downstream partners to resolve issues and/or understand unique business transactionsAutomate recurring business processes to achieve operational efficienciesDocument and present operational metrics to management teamDemonstrate ownership of process, problems/issues, or requests from start to finish.Ability to work on a variety of databases/data repositories for analyzing large volumes of data. Qualifications:Must have 7-10 years of experience.Understanding of the mortgage industry, preferably commercial or multifamily real estateSkilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) and SharePointStrong analytical and communication skillsExperience working in Agile methodologyCloud Knowledge and python scripting knowledgeStrong Hands on Experience on SQL with writing, executing, and analyzing large volumes of dataCandidate must be self-motivated, proactive, and have excellent organizational and planning skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Keys to Success in this Role:Understanding of Risk and controls and focus on Customer experienceUnderstanding of Cloud Native technologies including but not limited to S3, Mongo, Snow Flake,Hands on expert level experience with SQLProgramming experience to automate to recurring business processes to achieve operational efficienciesAbility to work independently and manage several priorities under tight deadlinesStrong attention to details with proven analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with a diverse group of employeesExcellent team player
