What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is currently looking for a Senior Combat Systems Engineer in anticipation of a contract award supporting the US Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. The program provides life cycle maintenance, logistics support, and modernization of foreign military weapon systems and hull, mechanical, and electrical equipment. An important mission of the US Navy is to "Build Partner Capacity" among allies around the globe. In doing so, the US Navy and the US Coast Guard transfer many new and retired maritime vessels to partner nations. This requires significant assistance from private industry in both the transfer process and in the lifecycle sustainment support of those vessels once they arrive in country.

If successful with the contract award, CACI intends to hire a wide spectrum of ship repair & modernization professionals, as well as shipboard operators & trainers. The Program Office will be based out of the DC metro area, but there will also be a need for professionals to work in Norfolk, VA. Some positions will have flexibility to work remotely. There will also be requirements for long term OCONUS work in Egypt and Iraq as well as short term assignments around the globe.

More About the Role:
  • Seeking Senior Combat Systems Engineering expertise to support Technical projects and ship repair availabilities as related to Foreign Military Sales programs executed by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical and Combat Systems products.
  • Develop / draft technical documents and reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to NAVSEA counterpart with regard to all aspects of Combat Systems.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Eight (8) years of increasing Systems Integration Management responsibility is required, including at least five (5) years of specific Naval Combat Systems installation, overhaul, and upgrade or integration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Foreign Military Sales experience is highly desirable
