Job Title: Senior Data Warehouse Modeler/Architect Location: Richmond, VA/ Contract to hire Duration: 6 months Job Description:Modeling for large enterprise systems, legacy modernization and detailed work, and ability to work in gray space. Not an easy combination to find, but it's what I need. Must-have skills:Hands-on data modeling for large enterprise systemsLogical and physical data modelingThe problem space is modernization of legacy systems so need someone who has done detailed work (bottom-up analysis of existing system designs and interfaces, reverse-engineering) and can think strategically (top-down design thinking)Ability to work in gray space, helping to frame the problems and define options for solving. Nice to have:Experience in financial services (particularly consumer credit) or customer managementDesign experience for API, streaming, or event-based solutionsData profiling and data analysis skillsGithub experienceAWS is a big plus but not required – this person will need to get an AWS certification before FT conversion
