Ready to support mission critical operations that harness the power of cloud? As a DevOps Engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks. On our team of cloud experts, you'll use your configuration management and provision know-how to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to work in existing NGA security tools/processes, Monitoring Application, Kubernetes and their sub components as designated by the Product Owner.

As a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, you'll collaborate with cloud architects and engineers specializing in Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef Software to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You'll have the chance to demonstrate your expertise within a DevOps framework to establish provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform to further your clients' meaningful missions.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be interacting with team using designated GEOINT Services tooling designated by the Product Owner. You'll be recording status updates daily in designated GEOINT Services tooling as designated by the Product Owner, as well as attending weekly team standups, monthly briefing with team leadership, and collaborating with the Task Coordinator.

You Have:
  • Experience with architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • xperience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
  • Experience with managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with threadfix web UI
  • Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX)
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
  • Experience with open technologies, DevOps, and related Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gitlab, Jenkins, GitHub, and Git, Docker, or Terraform
  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
  • Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect Certification, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
