Solves unusual problems jointly with their team and DC operational leadership.How You Will Make a DifferenceWhat you will do:Lead and support the development of best-in-class operating solutions that include all operational elements including design of operation flow, selection of technology and equipment, and facility layout design

Develop, lead and deliver successful process changes and implementations

Build and drive collaboration between Operation, IT & Finance for solving problems

Determine implementation plans and ensure set up according to the rules established

Perform cost/benefit trade-off analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects

Effectively communicate opportunities for improvement and identified risks

Implement and maintain an incentive pay program using work measurements of accepted analytical techniques ensuring adequate earnings opportunity equally to all associates

Assist with operations management in planning for peak seasons to upgrade or improve processes to ensure capacity to support shipment demand

Perform special research or technical studies critical to support operational functions

Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution center environment

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communications

Travel by air and overnight, as required 30% amount of the time.

Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs. of weight

Ability to travel within Canada and US

Ability to work onsite

Good analytical and mathematical skills

Aptitude for systems and systematic work, exposure to high automation a plus

Excellent oral and written communications

Ability to effectively manage and implement change in a team-based culture

Strong interactive and leadership skills

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD

Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems, lean methodologies,

Green / Black Belt & PMP designation is a bonus
