Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. The Developer will design, develop, integrate 3rd party components, test, install and support programs/systems. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software requirements, kernel settings, etc.
  • Provide input on technical feasibility and estimates on proposed solutions
  • Collaborate with 3rd party software providers to define and implement software components
  • Develop/maintain technical documentation; prepare and give presentation to customers
  • Write system documentation and operating procedures when needed
  • Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Tech skills: OO programming techniques, design patterns, Java techniques-JDK, debuggers, profiles
  • OS: Linux (RedHat)
  • Network protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, 1-way TLS, 2-way TLS
  • Security technologies: PKI, HMAC, AES, digest algorithms, hardware tokens
  • OpenAPI specification: REST API, Oauth2 framework
  • Software development environment and tools: Bitbucket, Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse, IntelliJ), Maven, Git
  • Cloud experience: AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure, CI/CD development lifecycle
