Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as a team lead in the designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as lead processes for creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Senior Mainframe Developer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Independently determine the needs of the customer while identifying and resolving conflicting or complementary needs across customer groups.
  • Applying advanced skill, knowledge and experience, design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Use a process-driven approach to leading design solutions.
  • Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams.
  • May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.
Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of relevant experience

Skills
  • Analyze product requirements and the development of technical specifications. Development, testing and implementation of BATCH/ONLINE code.
  • Ability to create functional process Charts, system flow charts, logical diagrams and participated in the design of new systems Codes.
  • Ability to develop new programs of moderate to high complexity and scope.
  • Ability to Utilize standard procedures, enhanced system performance, and defined criteria for testing.
  • Ability to develop test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure application quality.
  • Ability to develop and maintain code in Python
  • Working knowledge of AWS services like S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, Cl/CD, Bitbucket
  • Provide L3 Production support on a 24x7 on-call basis
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • The group of skills related to Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
