Your CareerIn this critical, cross-functional role within the Unit 42 Global Consulting Operations team, you will be responsible for leading the team responsible for the systems, methodologies, and processes related to order management, billing, and revenue recognition for Unit 42. This accounting professional and experienced leader will have a successful track record in building and leading high-performing teams, as well as developing and executing rigorous processes that ensure accurate and timely reporting of key financial data. We are looking for a leader with exceptional communication skills and the proven ability to devise creative solutions to challenging problems that require collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including finance, accounting, sales operations, and IT, in a dynamic and fast paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate will have the leadership and mentorship skills to lead a diverse and global team of experienced professionals, and be able to innovate, create, implement, and manage operational and process improvements to increase efficiency and support scale.We need a person with extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and how revenue works within an organization, who can execute on tight deadlines and under pressure. This role is a fantastic fit for candidates looking to transition from public accounting roles to leadership in business operations at a large publicly-traded company, as the role requires both accounting skills and general business acumen.Your ImpactDirectly lead and manage the team responsible for the execution, processes, and systems related to order management, billing, and revenue recognition for Unit 42Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing and financial reporting are accurate and timelyAssist the organization with designing and implementing internal controls over financial reportingLead efforts to document and maintain processes for order management and billing, and develop comprehensive training and onboarding plans for these teamsResponsible for SOX controls in the order management, credit management, and billing processesSupport the accounting team during month-end close and financial reporting processes Manage projects / initiatives to solve challenging issues by working with stakeholders across teams, managing communications, overseeing milestones, and helping deliver outcomesReview and understand contractual agreements between the Company, clients, and external vendorsEnhance operational rigor across the organization, identifying gaps and developing scalable solutions to problems
