- As a Senior C#/ASP.NET developer, will be working closely with Software Development and Operations teams to develop and support client applications.
- You will have to lead a small team of developers to carry out assigned tasks in a fast paced agile environment.
- You will also be required to provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior members of the team.
- This is a Full-Time position and work location will be at the client's office in Alexandria, VA.
- Design, development, and implementation of complex solutions involving the usage/integration of C#, MVC, jQuery, and Entity Framework technologies.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Technical Leads to define and prioritize upgrades and enhancements to existing solutions
- Hands-on writing, reviewing, and testing code for front-end and back-end applications.
- Participate in weekly sprint meetings and provided technical support to product teams.
- Coordinate with a different teams and support groups to resolve issues with the Software, applications, Operating System (Windows) and Cloud Services.
- Apply best practices in software design, architectural patterns, and concurrency pattens.
- Work with team to ensure 24x7x365 support for all managed applications
- 12+ years on hands-on experience in developing applications in VB, VB6, C#, ASP.NET languages using MVC and Entity frameworks.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development tools such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery and frameworks such as Kendo UI and Bootstrap
- 8+ years of Oracle/SQL Server development including stored procedures, triggers, and database design
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing applications on Windows/IIS Servers
- 5+ years of experience working with testing frameworks and implementing TDD
- 3+ Years of hands-on experience with DevOps and Automation concepts such as CI/CD
- Demonstrated experience developing applications using Visual Studio
- Demonstrated understanding of standard security practices and tools.
- Experience with source code repositories such as Git and SVN
- Experience working with defining, configuring and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub actions and other automation techniques.
- Experience working within an Agile Environment and working with Agile tools such as JIRA and Rally
- Interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass and hold a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
