Job Title: Senior .NET DeveloperLocation: McLean, VA (On-site 3x a week - Local candidates only, not open to relocation)Duration: 3 months contract to hire
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development
- Solid C# .NET experience with up-to-date knowledge of .NET frameworks
- Expertise in MVC, Web API, WCF, REST Services, and .NET Core
- Proficiency in SOAP or REST-based web services, XML and JSON technologies
- Experience with Angular, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong TSQL skills with experience in constructing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Microsoft SQL
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB will be a plus
- Unit testing experience using tools like MSTest, NUnit and mocking frameworks like Moq
- Experience with testing tools - Cucumber, Selenium
- CI/CD tools experience (Azure DevOps and Jenkins)
- 2+ years of experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence
- Microservices architecture and Docker Container Platforms experience (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) will be a plus
- Agile methodology experience (SCRUM/Kanban)
- OS administration skills (Windows Server) and Web Hosting (IIS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Messaging Queue (MSMQ) will be a plus
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
