Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our team! The Senior Oracle Database Administrator will apply expert-level knowledge toward maintaining and developing Oracle databases for custom applications using PL/SQL. The Senior Oracle Database Administrator will maintain database security and create backup and recovery options. This position requires the ability to work on a team and strong interpersonal skill. Responsibilities:- Develop processes for optimizing database security, server security, backups, and merging old databases with new ones
- Manage database access and accessibility of data
- Manage day-to-day operations of IDE's database systems
- Perform data migration (import/export)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
- Research and apply oracle upgrades, patches, and STIGS
- Create database backups
- Create automation for repeated database tasks
- Interface with users and help desk personnel
- Produce reports, visualizations, and dashboards for databases

- Extensive experience with Oracle databases (specifically 19c)
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL server tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management best practices
- Extensive experience with PL/SQL coding and applications

- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Oracle Certified Professional (or Master)
- Experience using Powershell and Unix scripting tools
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
