DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a

Senior Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in

Fairfax, VA.

The selected candidate will be allowed to work remotely 2 days per week.

Job Description: One project will replace the SAP Customer Interaction Center (CIC) with a contemporary customer engagement/customer relationship management solution. The other project will replace the contact center platform. The selected products must integrate with each other and with the existing SAP S/4HANA solution. Each project will be supported by project teams comprised of third-party consultants and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer service modernization program that is comprised of two projects with schedules that will overlap to enable testing, training, and deployment to occur concurrently.
  • Manage all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects complete on schedule, with expected scope, and within budget
  • Advise during vendor contract negotiations
  • Define, document, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard project management artifacts (e.g. WBS, risk assessments, project charter, RACIs, communication plan, MS schedule, status reports, etc.)
  • Ensure applicable project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in the development and management of a change management plan
  • Align project deliverables and milestones with projects strategy and objectives
  • Advise leadership and the Technology managers of status key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results, and deliver presentations
  • Facilitate project conference calls, status meetings, planning sessions, and provide for meeting notes
  • Consult project stakeholders and communicate project status throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide weekly status reports to key project stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues
  • Manage project resources, overseeing day-to-day project activities
  • Utilize project management applications as appropriate

Required Skills:
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • 10 Years - direct hands-on technical project management experience
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience developing and documenting both technical and business requirements
  • Budget, scope, and risk/issue management experience
  • Project management leadership experience of cross functional matrixed teams
  • Project schedule development experience along with 3rd party vendor schedule integration
  • Knowledge of quality assurance (e.g. test plans, test scripts, requirements traceability matrix) and best practices
  • 3rd party vendor management experience
  • Strong business, technical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and logical thinking
  • Ability to facilitate technical project meetings and translate outcome into project schedules
  • Ability to oversee and track progress, translating outcomes into management briefings and weekly status reports
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and customer service skills
  • Clear, concise, and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Self-motivated team player, able to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines when required
  • Effectively manage and solve complex business and technical problems
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies, applications, and business processes
  • Experience using system-based project management applications

Desired Skills:
  • 3 Years - Project management experience working on a customer service technology project
  • 3 Years - Project management experience working with SAP applications
  • Knowledge of varied technologies: COTS solutions, OData Services, Web APIs, SAP, and Security best practices cloud-computing and system integration
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Master’s Degree
