Senior Project Manager

AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment in our Virginia Beach, VA location.

The selected individual will assist in the development of task order proposals; support the management team in tracking task budgets, monitor activity schedules, and implement product quality standards; and otherwise support the Project and Program Managers. The Project Manager will assist in the management of technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:This position will manage and lead federal projects and programs, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the U.S. Air Force, or other Federal AgenciesEnsure project completion within budget, schedule, and in conformance with specificationsReview contracts and sub-contracts and assist  management of subcontractorsMonitor project financials and report to the Project ManagerDevelop and maintain design schedules for approvalManage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and engineering projectsResolv field-initiated questions with the technical design teamCoordinate and direct activities among the design groupsParticipate and attend design review meetings recording meeting minutes and tracking action itemsCoordinate the development of project deliverables with the design teamParticipate in building and maintaining a positive client relationshipAECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.  With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable, and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.  Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies.
