Job Description Summary

The candidate will provide subject matter expertise (SME) in SAP security analysis to support senior-level leadership. This candidate will assist in maturing the SAP IT program to strengthen and support critical functions within the Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) organization. The position involves developing and formulating departmental SAP security policy solutions and deliberate management of staffing packages internal to DoD, and across stakeholders and intergovernmental agencies. Candidate must be able to provide strategic advice, counsel and sound recommendations to senior leaders to support and strengthen policy activities through the development of Information Papers, Memorandums and oral briefings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a SAP security policy and compliance SME to the Director, Policy, Governance and Security for DCIO SAP IT, and will provide proactive support for a strategic policy framework that ensures alignment to the DoD mission, and strategy and creates business value for stakeholders and customers.• Provide executive-level support to Policy development tiger team forums to support stakeholders' requirements across the SAP community, DoD CIO's Front Office and across elements of the interagency. • Works closely with the DCIO SAP IT Governance Secretariat to assist in maturing and sustaining the SAP IT Governance program with an aim to drive effective IT decisions, investments, and outcomes in support to the overarching DoD SAP IT mission • Outlines, identifies, and incorporates strategic IT Investment Management into the departmental policy and governance framework. • Deliberately manages and updates the departmental charters and actionable framework(s) to reflect the role of effective SAP security policy to meet Senior Leadership priorities and address stakeholders' equities• Assist in designing and preparing technical, legislative reports, studies, and related documentation. • Develops performance metrics, charts and graphs to demonstrate and record outcomes. • Support policy development, requirements generation and PPBE processes• Oversee development and submission of DoD Instructions, DoD Directives, Issue Papers in support the requirements and policy decisions• Ensure conformance with established guidelines; provide timely feedback and status upon request• Perform special projects on own initiative or as assigned• Ensure conformance to established deadlines

Required Skills:• 5+ years of experience in support of special access program (SAP)• 10+ years of experience working in support of DoD programs • 3+ years of supporting policy development and requirements generation• 5+ years of DoD Information Technology Experience• Must have top secret clearance with SCI access "TS/SCI"• Bachelor's degree

Desired Skills:• Cyber / IT Experience preferred• Experience with DoD staffing processes• Knowledge/experience with DoD PPBE / JCIDS processes• Experience working in special programs environs • Very strong writing and communication skills, along with a high level of understanding using software such as MS Office, Project, and TEAMs.• Military or civilian DoD experience, including experience working in the Pentagon• Strong problem-solving skills in a DoD environment• Strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting decision-making for DoD senior leadership

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
