If this excites you, please apply now!Our Impact:We build and enhance software applications required for mandatory reporting of s mortgage loan data to Federal Housing Finance Agency.Your Impact:You will have significant impact on our team, and in our organization. You will primarily develop code for data centric software applications, while embracing and promoting the Agile attitude. You will help implement Regulatory Reporting product vision and communicate effectively to key partners. You will also assist with evaluation of new technologies with quick proof of concepts and support applications in production.Responsibilities include the following.Develop scalable and reliable data solutions to move data across systems from multiple sources in real time as well as batch modesDevelop innovative and automation solutions in the areas of data engineering including technology implementations using Agile constructSupport applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancementsQuickly evaluate defects, investigate causes and come up with solutions to address defectsProvide production support and provide clear communication on the resolution of incidentsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience2-4 years of experience in delivering solutions using Software Development Life Cycle4 years ETL experience using SAS, SQL and Unix, Shell Scripting, DB2/SybaseStrong data analytical skills using complex data sources including databases and text data filesOptional Skills:o Data Engineering solution delivery using AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Pyspark, Data lake), Python, Snowflake, Dev Ops and CI/CD toolso Knowledge and experience working with DataStageo Knowledge and experience working with JavaKeys to Success in this Role:Ability to work effectively and productively in a team or independentlyTechnology-first mindset, outstanding analytical skills and drive for innovationWillingness to try new things, fail fast and learn fastComments for Suppliers: This is a contract only position.
