The candidate will join a team to help support our existing on-premises environment and migrate to/redevelop our SharePoint, forms, and workflow applications in the Microsoft Cloud. This is a hybrid on-site 2 days a week position. To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.Responsibilities• Full life-cycle project management • Establish and lead project teams • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality • Risk, Issue and Change management • Ensure successful project implementation • Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff • Provide input and make budgetary recommendations regarding staffing and equipment • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems • Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions • Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisionsQualifications Must have at least 4 or more years' experience with the following:• Experience problem solving and troubleshooting SharePoint 2019/Nintext on-premises including 3rd level support• Experience in SharePoint "classic" development including JavaScript based technologies• Experience migrating from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online• Advanced experience in development and rebuilding workflows and forms in Nintex to Power Apps, Power Automate, modern SharePoint and other technologies• Advanced experience in development and rebuilding InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows in Power Apps, Power Automate, and other technologies• Experience working with Power Platform governance including COE (Center of Excellence)• Experience programming with Microsoft Graph and REST types of technologies• A professional, well-spoken personality to interact with business users• The ability to handle numerous tasks to end in a busy, changing environment• Advanced knowledge of the M365 application suite and the interactivity between SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Planner, M365 Groups, and other applications• Programming experience with the SharePoint Frameworks (SPFx), React, and other modern SharePoint development including modern SharePoint templates• Working in an Agile environment• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience • Working knowledge of engineering discipline • Advanced database and presentation software skills • Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Effective skill guiding and training less experienced staffDesired• Experience with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and other Azure technologies • Understanding of M365 Purview (security & compliance) and Azure security applications that affect M365• Microsoft Teams development including apps, bots, etc.• SharePoint & M365 PowerShell/PnP scripting• Working with Dataverse and Sharegate (or other migration tools)• Power BI report developmentHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 | 5550 Heritage Oaks Dr. Pensacola, FL 32526Navy Federal is now hybrid!
