Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (SSA) for the Office of Cloud Innovation Officer (CIO) who will serve as a Senior Solution Architect for a group of large, complex prime Task Orders (TOs) and shall assist the Project Managers and Project Directors in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the CIO, Directors and Principals, responsible for the overall management of the specific Task Order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. Responsibilities- Assist the project leadership team to drive the technical vision of a large software sustainment and development effort.
- Develop new solutions based on Cloud, Analytics and Security Task Areas of various TOs.
- Collaborate with a large team of Cloud Engineers and Cybersecurity Professionals to migrate, manage, and modernize workloads in the cloud serving DoD customers.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot complex problems and design and implement elegant solutions.
- Assist teams to solve complex technical problems and build automations to eliminate mundane repetitive tasks.
- Research and learn the latest available technologies to continuously find more efficient solutions to common problems.
- Apply design patterns to articulate best practices for solicitations and provide inputs to pricing for proposals.
- Use creative thinking to implement modern development methodologies into an existing software and/or infrastructure architecture.
- US Citizenship required with an ability to obtain a Federal DoD clearance
- Bachelor of Science in one of the following subject areas: Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Certification in cloud technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus
- Security related industry certification is a plus
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
- Experienced in the design, development, and integration of enterprise level software applications.
- Understand microservices architecture and containerization concepts.
- Possess an understanding of the entire software stack, software architecture, data architecture, and the software development lifecycle.
- Possess an understanding of Agile software development processes.
- Understand DevSecOps and how to build and utilize a cloud agnostic CD/CD pipeline.
- Possess an understanding of numerous relational database technologies including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with a wide range of software development tools for code repositories, Integrated Development Environments, task management, database access, testing, and build and deployment orchestration.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure and Oracle (OCI) cloud services.
- Basic knowledge of AWS Cloud and its wide range of services and tools.
- Nice to have: Existing Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience working within the Federal government and/or DoD
- Nice to have: DOD 8570 Level II certification (Security+ certifications, CISSP)
