Senior VMWare Engineer in Merrifield, VA

Title: Senior VMWare Engineer Location: Merrifield, VA Duration: 12+ months Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Installing and setting up ESXi cluster using either version 6.x or 7.x Managing and maintaining the ESXi environment using the vCenter 6.x or 7.x. Ability to write scripts using the VMWare CLI and PowerShell utilities to automate setup and management activities in the ESXi environment 6.x or 7.x . a. Managing large ESXi environment 6.x or 7.x using vCenter to b. Create, clone, snapshot, maintain, backup and restore VMs, c. Create and manage datastore and virtual networking, Manage and maintain the ESXi servers. Managing and supporting Servers, storage, and network. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. At least 5 years of experience with VMWare, ESXI and vCenter and Hyper-V. Experience with virtualization of large multiple environments: RHEL; Solaris; Unix; Windows Preferred Qualifications Site Recovery Manager is desired. vRA or vCloud is a plus.
