Job Description

Fannie Mae seeks Software Engineering - Lead Associate - Reston, VA •A C/Java Developer responsible for working on stories, mentoring teammates, cross collaboration with other teams, and interactions with product owner.

•Participate in or review all of the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.

•Create or update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.

•Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.

•Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.

•Set up and configure a continuous integration environment.

This is a hybrid (work in office and at home) position.

Qualifications

Req'd: Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Three years of Full Stack Java experience must include C experience, AWS or other cloud technologies, and use of continuous integration tools (e. g. Jenkins, Hudson, etc) and infrastructure automation (VM Ware, Puppet, Chef, Vagrant, Docker, etc).
