Job Title: Site Safety and Health OfficerJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a full-time Site Safety and Health Officer to manage and run safety protocols onsite. This role involves working on dry docks for the Navy with an estimated project value of $200M. The position requires certification with OSHA 30 and EM-385.Responsibilities

Manage and enforce safety protocols onsite

Oversee safety measures during dry dock operations for the Navy

Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 and EM-385 standards

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits

Report and address safety incidents and violations

Collaborate with site management to improve safety procedures

Essential Skills

OSHA 30 certification

EM-385 certification

5+ years of experience as a Site Safety and Health Officer

Experience working on federal bases

Knowledge of federal construction and construction safety

Proficiency in construction computer software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with USACE protocols

Familiarity with quality control measures (QCM)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Work EnvironmentThe position requires onsite work from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, primarily on dry docks outside. Construction attire is required. The company offers a small, family-oriented environment with great pay and benefits, including a company vehicle depending on the role, 2 weeks of PTO, and 10 holidays.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
