Job Title: Data Engineer - Snowflake Location: Remote Job Type: Full Time This is Full Time with CloudBC Labs
- 2+ years of Snowflake experience with migrating workloads to Snowflake
- Overall 8+ years of experience in IT.
- Strong DBA/Database Development experience
- Strong ETL/ELT experience and Data Modeling cycles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A programming language background : Object-Oriented language, .Net. Java, C, Python
- Experience with some other popular database (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with AWS/AZURE
- Experienced with using Agile development methodologies
- Nice to have GIT, DOCKER, DATAOPS, DBT.
- Consuming/visualizing data from snowflake with a reporting tool (Excel, Tableau, PowerBI).
- -Consulting with teams to assist with architecting replacement solutions with Snowflake.
- -Administering a Snowflake account
- (Snowflake is a database as a service, so this would involve monitoring queries, monitoring Snowflake credit usage, configuring data replication for disaster recovery, etc)
