As a Software Developer supporting the Customer, you will be trusted to work on innovative solutions that will transform and enhance the Enterprise IT environment to meet the growing global mission. In this role, a typical day will include:Applies expert knowledge and provides guidance to all phases of the software development lifecycle
Applies expert knowledge in analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
Applies expert knowledge in creating advanced models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
Applies expert knowledge and provides guidance for software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
Provides expert analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
Provides expert knowledge and guidance on the software or system process for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts
May serve as a mentor to experienced analysts
May serve as team or task lead.
May act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts within a Division
Recognized as a subject matter expert in software development
Works independently under limited supervision
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Bachelor's Degree (in an IT-related field)
10+ years or relevant experience
Technical skills
Current TS/SCI clearance with an active Polygraph
REQUIRED SKILLS:Demonstrated interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as a member of an integrated team and the ability to negotiate reasonable compromises among a diverse group of stakeholders with diverse opinions or diverging strategies
Knowledge of Federal Government and Commercial Industry best practices to include emerging cyber security capabilities and their application
Demonstrated familiarity with Agency Enterprise IT systems to include the Intelligence Community Integrated Technology Environment (IC-ITE)
Demonstrated record of good judgment and problem-solving skills necessary to make reasonable security
Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to clearly express technical and complex strategy concepts to peers and seniors
Team and mission-oriented self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impacts and make sound recommendations
Strong desire to utilize new technology to meet mission needs, quickly research new technology, and derive larger themes from disruptive technology
