SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for Build Managers to work on a new and emerging Navy tactical system that integrates with the full suite of combat sensors. SimVentions is looking for employees to be part of a team to support the US Navy focused on developing and modernizing electronic warfare (EW) system
Responsibilities:- Configuration Management (CM) process and procedures required to identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of a configuration item
- Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02, lifecycle configuration control, document, hardware and software configuration management, CM tracking tools that document, control, implement, track, and audit changes to the system using Military Handbook 61B and American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance 649-C as guides
- Application of CM methodologies and familiarity with Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes
- Evaluation of datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy and reasonableness
- Operate in a database environment, run report and format reports, management of Microsoft SharePoint or other data repositories
- Agile methodology
- SW build release processes
- Version control of SW through development and release
- Three (3) years of experience in areas of software development or software configuration management to include software design, analysis, testing, documentation, and ability to code in the following: in GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Linux, C, Simu-Link; JAVA; Python• RTI-DDS and PLA.
