Are you an engineer who strives to constantly improve processes?The Test Support team is looking to hire a technically strong and motivated Lead developer to:Manage tasks and processes automation to boost effectiveness and accelerate our delivery flow.Support the supervision of the (test) infrastructures to maximize availability and predictability.Based in Manassas, VA or Culpeper, VA you will be working alongside a team of highly-skilled professionals who are responsible for building the future of the operational teams at SWIFT through Agile / DevOps practices and Cloud computing.

What to expectYou will participate to the design and the implementation of monitoring tasks / systems allowing to proactively detect and report the infrastructure failures.You will seek for inefficiencies in current/future processes, and develop a wide variety of automated tasks to minimize manual actions and integrate those in a continuous delivery workflow.You will coach and support less experienced software engineers in their automation initiatives and promote the good practices to medium to big audiences.You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across three continents. We have global reach and impact but operate fast as we are a relatively small company.You will act as point of contact in US for the above and may be asked to guide other resources.What will make you successful?

Technical skills & knowledgeExperience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, Python and PerlKnowledge of Linux OS, and/or Windows and/or UNIXKnowledge of basic continuous delivery process and technologies (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible).

Technical skills & knowledge that are an assetPractical experience with Automation tools and techniques (e.g. RPA/Robot Framework, Selenium, PathUI) Knowledge of basic network troubleshootingPractical experience with Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an asset.

EducationUniversity degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience8 to 10 years of experience within a development or testing environment; 3 year of experience in automation, 1 year as (small) team leader.
